Jiang Bin, male, was born in China's Sichuan Province in 1982. He was admitted to the former PLA Academy of Foreign Languages in 1999. After graduating in 2003, he served successively as the assistant translator, staff officer, and director of the translation office under the Office for International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Jiang Bin holds the rank of senior colonel and was appointed deputy director-general of the Information Office of the MND in June 2024. He had studied at the University of Birmingham in the UK and obtained a Master's degree in International Studies.

He is married and has a son.
