Eng.mod.gov.cn is the official English-language website for China's Ministry of National Defense(MND) and the starting point for finding China's military information online in English.
This website and its Chinese version -- www.mod.gov.cn -- make up the Chinese Armed Forces’ online presence.
The mission of eng.mod.gov.cn is to support the overall mission of the Chinese Armed Forces by providing timely, official and accurate information about defense policies, organizations, functions, operations and activities.
Authorized and approved by the Central Military Commission(CMC) of the People's Republic of China (PRC), eng.mod.gov.cn was established and put into operation on August 20 in 2009.
