BEIJING, Sept. 15 -- During the intervals of performing escort tasks, the guided-missile frigate Honghe (Hull 523) attached to the 47th Chinese naval escort taskforce conducted multi-subject training in the Gulf of Aden, including main gun and close-in weapon systems firing at sea, and shipboard helicopter flight to strengthen its capabilities in performing the escort tasks.
