BEIJING, Jan. 25 -- On the evening of January 24, 2025, the Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China (PRC) hosted a New Year reception for 2025 in Beijing.
About 220 guests, including foreign military attachés to China, officials of some international organizations in China and their spouses were invited to attend the reception.
Chinese Defense Minister General Dong Jun met with the guests and exchanged New Year greetings with them.
The year 2024 witnessed the Chinese military's great efforts in fulfilling missions, strengthening combat-readiness training, and engaging in extensive international cooperation.
In 2025, the Chinese military will adhere to the head-of-state diplomacy, firmly practice multilateralism, uphold fairness and justice, and actively fulfill international responsibilities.
In 2025, the Chinese military is willing to work with its foreign counterparts to further deepen security cooperation.
