TIANJIN, Sep. 15 -- The 6th China Helicopter Exposition, co-hosted by Tianjin Municipal People's Government, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Army, kicked off in Tianjin Airport Economic Zone on September 14, with more than 350 companies participating from over 20 countries and regions.
During the 4-day Helicopter Exposition, there will be 65 aircraft, including 49 helicopters, 13 large drones and 3 multi-rotor vertical take-off and landing aircraft displayed in the exhibition area of about 160,000 square meters.
The PLA Army sent 14 types of equipment to the exposition. During the airshow at the opening ceremony, the Fenglei (windstorm) aerobatic team of the PLA Army demonstrated 8 aerobatic maneuvers for the audience.
