The 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to UNMISS carries out the task of building new underground bunkers.
WAU, South Sudan, Mar.24 -- Recently, the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) successfully completed the construction of new underground bunkers, laying a solid ground for the security of the barracks.
It is learned that within 34 working days of continuous hard work, the Chinese peacekeeping engineering contingent deployed more than 510 troops, along with over 150 engineering machines to complete the construction of new underground bunkers. The newly-built underground bunkers integrate command, communication, protection, ventilation, washing, toilet, and other functions.
