KARACHI, Pakistan, Feb. 12 -- On February 11, the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-2025, hosted by the Pakistani Navy, was wrapped up after an International Fleet Review. The Chinese participating naval troops were highly recognized by all parties for their excellent military qualities and training performance.
The exercise was conducted in port and sea phases. During the port phase from February 7 to 9, the participating navies held exercise consultations, roundtable discussions on professional topics, cross-deck visits and exchanges, and other activities. The sea phase took place from February 10 to 11, with ships from different navies conducting drills on replenishment-at-sea, joint anti-piracy, search and rescue, air defense and other subjects in the waters off Karachi.
This Multinational Maritime Exercise further enhanced the exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese Navy and other participating navies, and strengthened the capabilities of the participants in jointly ensuring maritime security.
