BEIJING, Jan. 14 -- One week ago, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in the city of Xigaze, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region at 9:05 a.m. on January 7. At present, the post-disaster reconstruction is proceeding in an orderly manner. The disaster relief troops of Chinese military are carrying out debris removal, prefabricated house construction, medical tours and psychological consultation in the disaster-affected areas to ensurethat the local people are well-fed and free of worries.
