WAU, South Sudan, Aug. 14 -- The 14th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) passed the UN equipment inspection for the third quarter of 2024 on August 8, local time.
The inspection mainly focused on the full-element and all-round assessment of more than 800 major equipment and self-sustaining equipment in eight categories including medical equipment, weapons and ammunition, vehicles and equipment, and communication support of the Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent. Having passed the UN inspection successfully, the Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent was unanimously recognized and highly praised.
