WAU, South Sudan, Oct. 17 -- The 13th Chinese Peacekeeping Level-II Hospital to UN Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) successfully passed the last UN equipment assessment during its mission period on October 12, with every item up to standard.
During the assessment, the inspection team conducted comprehensive review on 800-odd self-sustainment materials of the contingent in 8 categories, including medical facilities, vehicle equipment, barrack installations, communication devices and catering equipment. Every piece of equipment of the contingent reaches the UN standard, for every item matches the account and is in sound condition.
