BEIJING, July 10 -- The opening ceremony of the China-Thailand joint air force exercise Falcon Strike-2023 was held at Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base (Udorn RTAFB) in Thailand on July 9, 2023.
PLA's participating equipment includes fighter jet , fighter bomber, airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft , and surface-to-air missile fire unit. The joint exercise includes such subjects as air support, joint air defense, large-scale deployment, etc.
According to Chen Jun, Chinese commander in chief, this joint exercise adhered to the principles of mutual benefits and win-win cooperation, and adopted real combat standards, which would further enhance the training proficiency of both air forces.
Watcharapong, director of the combat training office of the Royal Thai Air Force Operations Department, said that the joint training exercise would not only improve the collaborative capabilities of the two sides, but also enhance mutual trust and friendship between the two air forces.
