The comprehensive supply ship Weishanhu (Hull 887) docks for material supply.
BEIJING, April 19 -- Recently, the comprehensive supply ship Weishanhu (Hull 887) attached to the 43rd Chinese naval escort taskforce approached the Port of Djibouti for material supply as planned.
To ensure the living needs at sea, the taskforce had raised tens of tons of military supplies including meat, fresh fruits and vegetables which were transported to the Port of Djibouti, providing reliable support for subsequent escort missions.
Commander Ma Rengang, an administrative assistant of the 43rd Chinese naval escort taskforce, said that overseas supply is the lifeline for ships to continuously carry out deep-sea missions. The operation this time was efficient and smooth, effectively testing the troops’ support capabilities, and laying a solid foundation for the successful completion of subsequent missions.
