The 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum (BXF) will be held from September 12 to 14. Preparations for its convening are almost complete. As of August 28, official delegations from more than 90 countries, regions and international organizations have confirmed to attend the Forum. The number and level of participants has exceeded all previous years with increasingly wider representation.
Under the theme of Promoting Peace for a Shared Future, this year's Forum aims at pooling wisdom, expanding consensus and building mutual trust, and promoting balanced, effective and sustainable security architecture. It will convene 4 plenary sessions, namely Security Cooperation and Asia-Pacific Prosperity and Stability, Multipolarity and the Evolving International Order, Global South and World Peaceful Development, and International Mechanisms and Global Security Governance. Eight special sessions will also be convened, as well as feature activities such as high-end interviews, leading experts dialogue, SCO+ young scholars salon, and young military officers' and scholars' seminar.
