BEIJING, Aug. 17 -- A regiment under Chinese PLA’s Xinjiang Military Command carried out a live-fire drill with new-type ground-to-air missile systems in a plateau area with an elevation of more than 4,500 meters. During the drill, the air defense troops accurately locked the “enemy” high-speed target drone which is penetrating at an ultra-low altitude, and hit it with the first launch.
