BEIJING, April 8 – The temporary Lebanon-Israel border area in south Lebanon is generally seen as a “death belt” for quantity of mines. Chinese peacekeeping engineers under the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) are committed to clearing deadly mines in the south Lebanese area and bringing safety to local people.
