GUANGZHOU, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's first national entrepreneurship and innovation competition for demobilized military personnel concluded Thursday in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province.
Initiated in January, the competition was co-hosted by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Guangdong Provincial People's Government.
The competition saw the participation of more than 30,000 veterans with their startup projects covering the fields of 5G, artificial intelligence, smart agriculture and the modern service industry.
Departments responsible for veterans affairs will provide training, loans, incubation and consulting services to the winners, according to the organizers.
