A Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force fighter jet recently completed a 10-hour armed patrol mission to the South China Sea. It broke the PLA Air Force's flight duration record for a single sortie by a fighter aircraft. Previously, the longest single flight time was eight hours and 30 minutes.
