BEIJING, July 14 -- On July 13, 2026, the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) coordinated a joint emergency medical rescue drill between the 6th Chinese Peacekeeping Military Utility Helicopter Unit to UNISFA and the Ghanaian Level-II Hospital. The drill covered the entire operational chain, including aerial search and rescue, field emergency medical care, and the aero-medical evacuation of critically injured personnel, further enhancing their joint medical rescue capabilities in responding to emergencies.
