Beijing, July 10 -- On July 9, the Chinese PLA Navy’s task group, composed of training ship Qijiguang (Hull 83) and amphibious dock landing ship Kunlunshan (Hull 998), concluded its four-day goodwill visit to Vietnam and departed from Lotus Port in Ho Chi Minh City to continue its far-sea comprehensive internship and visit mission.
During the visit to Vietnam, the task group conducted a series of friendly exchange activities. After departing port on July 9, it carried out joint maritime training with the Vietnam People's Navy on formation maneuvering, communication drills, and maritime etiquette.
Since June 15, the task group has sailed through the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea, the Sea of Japan, and the South China Sea, transited the Busan Strait, the Tsushima Strait, and the Taiwan Strait, and successfully completed goodwill visits to Russia and Vietnam.
