An air defense missile element assigned to an army regiment under the Chinese PLA Xinjiang Military Command recently conducted a live-fire drill in plateau area.
The drill, featuring the HQ-17A air defense missile systems, focused on testing the crews' capabilities in rapid deployment, ammunition loading, countering penetrating targets and position displacement under mobile combat conditions, effectively enhancing the element's operational effectiveness in mobile engagement, rapid search and low-altitude interception.
