JUBA, Sept. 15 -- The 12th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to South Sudan (Juba) recently held a cultural exchange event with the University of Juba. Through cultural performances, interactive activities, and a campus tour, the event enhanced mutual understanding between young people from China and South Sudan.
Since its deployment to the mission area, the 12th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion has traveled to Terekeka, Mongalla, Yei, areas around Juba, and other locations, carrying out more than 30 humanitarian assistance activities, including donations of supplies, cultural and sports activities, free medical services, and instruction in crop cultivation.
Moving forward, the Chinese peacekeeping troops will continue to promote cultural exchanges with the local communities in South Sudan and deepen mutual trust and cooperation.
