BEIJING, Jan.13 -- A destroyer flotilla assigned to the navy under Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command recently deployed the guided-missile destroyers Dalian (Hull 105), Yinchuan (Hull 175), Haikou (Hull 171) and other vessels to conduct combat-oriented live-fire training on multiple subjects in the waters of the South China Sea. The training aimed to test and refine the destroyer flotilla's capabilities in operational command and emergency response, thereby enhancing the troops’ coordination at all levels.
During the training, these destroyers conducted maneuvering voyages in multiple sea areas and carried out training in various aspects such as maritime assaults, air defense confrontations, and regional air defense, further testing the technical and tactical performance of the weapons and equipment.
