BEIJING, Jan. 2 -- The Type 052D guided-missile destroyer Loudi (Hull 176) was commissioned to the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy in November, 2025. It is equipped with upgraded phased array radar, weapon and network systems, thereby greatly enhancing regional air defense, missile defense, anti-ship strike, anti-submarine and formation command capabilities.
