Armies worldwide are speeding up the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into combat systems, including target recognition, unmanned platforms, and command-and-control networks, fundamentally reshaping the pace of warfare.
In practice, AI still face limitations in accuracy and reliability. Target recognition errors, system failures, and external interference can pose serious risks, even endangering civilians.
As unmanned equipment and decision-making systems increasingly rely on AI, the global community has to face up a serious challenge – how to ensure that these technologies are used responsibly and remain under human control.
