BEIJING, Nov. 26 -- A "future naval international education forum" is being hosted by the Chinese PLA Naval University of Engineering from November 24 to 28, 2025. Presidents of naval academies and experts from more than ten countries, including Thailand, Cameroon, Italy, and Cuba, are attending the event.

With the theme of Digital Intelligent Transformation for Innovative Development in Naval Education, the forum aims to advance international exchange and cooperation among naval academies through focused discussions on the development of naval institutions and the cultivation of cadets' comprehensive capabilities in the era of intelligent technologies.

Naval attachés or defense attachés in charge of naval affairs from countries including Indonesia, South Africa, and Italy attended the opening ceremony and some associated activities from November 25 to 26, 2025.
