BEIJING, Nov. 5 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy's 83rd taskforce, which is currently on the ocean-going cadet training and visit mission, conducted comprehensive multi-subject training recently.

In the South China Sea, cadets onboard the training ship Qi Jiguang (Hull 83) and the amphibious dock landing ship Yimengshan (Hull 988), carried out enroute alongside replenishment operations. They completed the measuring of orientations and intervals between vessels, providing decision-making information for the commanders.

During the voyage, the cadets also received training on sailing in rough seas, communications support, hydrogeological surveying and mapping.
