DIJIBOUTI, May 16 (ChinaMil) -- The guided-missile frigate Xuzhou of the 29th escort taskforce of the PLA Navy arrived at the Port of Djibouti on Monday, for five days of rest and replenishment.
The Chinese frigate will be replenished with vegetables, fruits and other necessities and have its equipment checked and maintained.
Since taking over the mission of escorting merchant ships in the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somali coast from the 28th Chinese naval escort taskforce on May 2, the 29th taskforce has provided escort for seven merchant ships in the Gulf of Aden.
