  The 1st National Day Parade on October 1, 1949
It’s decided on the preparatory meeting the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in June 1949 that a grand ceremony to mark the founding of the People’s Republic of China would be held on the Tian’anmen Square, Beiping on October 1.
