Xu Caihou: Chinese Military – A Force for Multiple Military Tasks
President Hu Jintao proposes to improve the PLA's capabilities in responding to multiple security threats and fulfilling multiple military tasks and such an important proposition is based on our nation’s reality and aligned with PLA’s founding nature and goal, and answers for the new changes in national interests in security and development, said General Xu Caihou in his speech delivered at the CSIS of the United States.
