BEIJING, November 21 (ChinaMil) -- A photo that the officers and men lined up to form the words “Chinese dream, powerful military dream” on the deck of the “Liaoning” aircraft carrier of the Navy of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLAN) was recently released.

It is a cultural tradition for naval servicemen to form words on the deck of warships. The U.S. naval servicemen, for instance, do this on major holidays, military memorial days and other days of special significance.

The USS Enterprise nuclear-powered aircraft carrier started its round-the-globe navigation on July 31, 1964, during which the ship proved its unlimited navigation ability by a non-stop and no-refueling voyage covering 49,190 kilometers in 65 days.

During its voyage, the servicemen formed the “E=mc²”, a well-known formula for the theory of relativity, on deck of the aircraft carrier in commemoration of Albert Einstein who made important contributions in the development of nuclear energy.
