The “Tianhe-1” supercomputer is ranked No.5 in the world.

　　According to the ranking list of the 34th Top 500 of the global supercomputers which was formally released on Nov. 18, Beijing time, the “Tianhe-1” supercomputer developed by the National University of Defense Technology of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) is ranked No.1 in Asia and No. 5 in the world with the peak velocity of 1,206.19 trillion times per second and the measured speed of 563.1 trillion times per second.
