Peace Mission 2009

　　The exercise, code-named "Peace Mission-2009", will be carried out in Russia's Far East area and the Shenyang Military Area Command in northeast China, according to the two countries' defense authorities. It will last five days.

Chinese Warship in "Peace 09 Exercise"
　　The Chinese navy will participate in a ten-day multinational naval exercise in the seas off Pakistan in March, a Ministry of National Defense official said Thursday.A task force, composed of the destroyer Guangzhou, a helicopter and 10 members of the marine corps will take part in the "Peace-09" exercise, said ministry spokesman Huang Xueping.

China-India Joint Anti-Terrorism Training
　　A week of China-India army joint anti-terrorism training kicked off on Saturday with performances of tai chi and Indian martial arts.The 'Hand in Hand 2008' training is scheduled to end on Dec. 12.

"Sharpening 2008" Exercise
　　At 08:00 yesterday morning, thousands of officers and men of a mechanized infantry brigade of the Jinan MAC marched northward in several columns from their barracks in the Central Plains and headed for the vast expanse of grassland in Inner Mongolia, kicking off "Sharpening 2008" confrontation exercise between opposing forces organized by the General Staff Headquarters of the PLA.

China-Related Joint Military Exercises in 2007
　　Real troops confrontation is a fight in resourcefulness and valor, and he who has the "sharper sword" will triumph in the intensive fighting in the battlefield. The China-Russia joint anti-terror exercise coded "Cooperation 2007" was rounded off in the outskirts of Moscow on September 6.
