According to Wang Jiang, director of the Financial Department of the Joint Logistics Department of the Shenyang Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the mobile camouflage banking vehicle jointly developed by the department and the bank system, which is fixed with vehicle-mounted bank data processing terminal and specialized wireless network banking equipment, puts an end to the history of taking large amount of cash for self support in disaster relief, stability maintenance, emergency handling and field camping training.

　　Last year, the Financial Department of the Joint Logistics Department of the Shenyang MAC developed the mobile banking vehicle integrating such functions as fund transfer, cash deposit and withdrawal, network banking and financial settlement together with the branches of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in northeast China’s Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces. The vehicle is developed in accordance with the standard of military logistics equipment and armored bank vehicle by making use of the specialized bank equipment and advanced electronic payment means and adopting such 20-plus advanced technologies as bulletproof, anti-theft and security monitoring.

　　Recently, the newly-made mobile banking vehicles were distributed to the group armies under the Shenyang MAC. The financial personnel of the troops can handle various financial business in real time by using the vehicle-mounted military system. The bank staff can go to the troop units stationed in remote areas to handle such banking business as deposit and withdrawal for the officers and men in peace time according to the specification of cooperation signed by the military and the bank.
