NDU joins hands with troops to train foreign senior officers

On the afternoon of January 28, leaders from the foreign affairs departments of the major organizations of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) including the PLA General Staff Headquarters, the Beijing Military Area Command, the PLA Navy, the PLA Air Force and the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force (APF), commanders of some divisions and brigades opening to foreign visitors and persons in charge of relevant businesses of some military schools, gathered at the College of Defense Studies of the NDU to carry out exchanges on how to do a good job in the training of foreign senior officers.
At the exchange meeting, leaders from foreign affairs departments of the PLA major organizations briefly introduced the new achievements obtained in the army building in recent years and expressed that they would actively cooperate with each other to do a good job in the training of foreign senior officers.
It’s learned that there are 500-plus foreign senior officers and senior defense officials of more than 100 countries coming to the College of Defense Studies of the NDU for study or exchange every year and the College of Defense Studies always organizes the foreign students of every class to go down to the troop units of the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Second Artillery Force of the PLA and the APF to visit and practice.
