APF special operation elements in anti-terrorism exercise

Crossing fire barrier

  As the Spring Festival of the Chinese Lunar New Year is drawing near, an anti-terrorism exercise is in full swing fiercely in the area of the vast Gobi Desert beyond the Great Wall. In consideration of the demand of the mission, the Nanjiang Headquarters under the Xinjiang Contingent of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force (APF) intensifies its efforts in anti-terrorism training for the special operation elements, so as to provide a strong support for the maintenance of the local social stability.

  The vast desert, high mountains, deep valleys and high residential buildings became stages for the special operation elements to test their special operation skills. During the exercise, the participating members of the special operation elements exercised such 10-plus subjects as field capture and annihilation, hostage rescue and forced march and they accomplished one after another high-intensity and highly-difficult limit challenges, further improving their capability in carrying out anti-terrorism operation and handling unexpected incidents.
