The General Political Department (GPD) of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) recently issued the “Directives to Political Work in Military Training in 2010”, making deployment for political work in military training.

　　The Directives urges that troop units of the PLA and the Armed Police Force at all levels should take strengthening military training as the most important task in doing the political work, enhance the troops' senses of mission and responsibility and focuse on intensive military training and raising core military capabilities, to create an atmosphere in which all the servicemen are active in pushing forward the transformation of military training and making full preparation for wining future warfare.

　　The Directives stresses that a futher study of bettering political work in military training should be done to meet the need of accomplishing diversified military tasks.
